Known to all as Quincy although he was
my pickled quince, what a journey we had
together, this gorgeous tri boy from the world
famous Felthorn Kennels in the UK and me. Quincy
gained his first CC only two days out of
quarantine in top competition and continued on,
making his mark on the australian show scene.
Excelling in soundness, movement, head
properties and coat, he was a dream to show
although on his day he could be naughty as well
as stubborn. Quincy went on to become
australia''s top winning sheltie, winning 27
Best In Show and multiple R/Up''s. He also
became 4th Top Dog All Breeds in Australia.
Quincy gave us many memorable moments but the
one we like to remember is when he went Best In
Show at the Canberra Collie & Sheltie Champ Show
and his young daughter Ch Shelbrae Seventh
Heaven was R/Up to Best In Show from the puppy
class under Mary Hickie (NSW). Quincy and his
progeny have won over 80 Best In Shows.
